For new visitors:
I’m Isa, an 18-year-old from Bogotá, Colombia. Learning, solving problems, and creating new things are my biggest passions. I enjoy diving into new subjects and exploring them inside and out, so be prepared to occasionally encounter what may seem like random content. I am hungry for new experiences that take me out of my comfort zone and help me grow and I love documenting them. Come along with me on this adventure!
This past month was spent finishing school, experimenting in a lab, and doing an internship focused on product development.
Exploring Carbon Capture at Los Andes

I participated in an experiment at Universidad de Los Andes exploring the use of limestone for cycle carbon capturing. Our process was inspired by the method that the company Hireloom uses on a commercial scale. My takeaways and the procedure will be published in an article next month.
My Summer Internship
La Totuga is a company that sells personalized kids music. The best part: It’s my Dad’s company. It’s not the internship I imagined for myself this summer nor the company I would’ve dreamed of, but as soon as I realized that this opportunity was open for me, I took it. The freedom I am given and the team's trust are invaluable.
The process of thinking about the customer experience and designing it all over has challenged me but also provided me with a way to use the skillset I have been acquiring for a long time. I have also learned new skills in app development, company management, and prototyping.
What else?
I’m reading Love in the Time of Cholera and Naked Economics
Finished up the school year with a very busy Prom season 💃

Working hard to brainstorm and develop the program I will be offering to the entrepreneurs I am mentoring
Got back into playing Tennis
